Greeters at Maranatha, both men and women, are a vital part of the church’s ministry. Striving to offer the best possible first impression, our greeters reach out in love, assisting the new mom and dad, the elderly, the visitors, any one who comes through our doors by providing directions, information as needed, a handshake or a welcoming hug. Our greeters let everyone know we are glad they came to our house. If you are one whose goals are to love, welcome, and encourage everyone who walks through the doors – members and guests – come join us.

Eager to serve, our ushers, ages 18 years or older, guide guests to seats, provide information as needed and remain accessible during all services. Our ushers assist with collecting the offering and during the altar call. They strive to make each individual feel like the guest of honor at every service.

The primary focus of the Prayer Partners is to help minister salvation in our church services, as well as to help people receive the Holy Spirit and to recommit to God. The Prayer Partners also provide information about becoming a member and pray for any personal prayer requests someone may have.

2nd MILE Luncheon (New Members)
To welcome families and individuals to the MC family, the staff hosts a quarterly lunch in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the Sunday morning service.

2nd Mile provides a biblical and practical introduction to the beliefs of Maranatha Church. Our goal is to provide information to the newest members of the MC family as well as to give them a chance to meet those in leadership. Through this luncheon, you will be given an opportunity to join yourself with a ministry in the church.

If you like to cook, our Hospitality Ministry is the perfect ministry opportunity for you. Members of the MC family prepare food for our membership dealing with the loss of a family member. Preparing the food, serving and encouraging those who come is all taken care of by volunteers from our church family.

New Life Ministry is a group of women who minister to ladies before and after the delivery of their baby. Phone calls are made before the baby is born, a visit is made while at the hospital and a meal is provided when the family returns home. This ministry is a support for ladies giving birth, be it the first child or the fourth.

Communion is served at the front of the sanctuary on the first Sunday of each month begining at 10:20AM. Someone will be available to assist you with communion. We can pray with you or you are welcome to pray by yourself.
